Strictly Come Dancing's Chris McCausland shared a touching moment with his dance partner Dianne Buswell backstage, as Tess Daly offered her support to the duo.
The unlikely dance sensation Chris and Aussie pro Dianne have danced their way into the quarter-finals of the hit BBC dance contest, and they celebrated the milestone by meeting Dianne's parents, Rina and Mark, the Express reports.During rehearsals, captured by production crews and later posted on Dianne's Instagram, Chris was embraced by Dianne's father, who broke down in tears.
Chris concernedly asked, "Are you okay?" Sitting down with her parents and Chris, Dianne remarked: "Dad's getting emotional again."Chris reflected on their journey, saying: "I feel like it's been a real partnership, you know, and I think we reflected that when we did our couple's choice, in that it was also about the risks that you're taking as well [Dianne], you being in the unknown and you figuring this out as we're going along."He praised Dianne's parents for timing their visit perfectly: "And well done for coming over when there's only seven left because at the beginning, oh it's a long shot.
You've come over at the right time." Dianne chimed in: "We said when we danced in Blackpool just gone, we get quite nervous both of us, because there still is such an unknown identity to every dance we do, isn't there."Dianne Buswell's mum left her in tears after sharing a heartfelt message ahead of her and Chris Ramsey's Strictly Come Dancing performance.
