Strictly Come Dancing viewers were left disappointed after Saturday night's live show skipped a dance from the professional dancers in the opening.

While the show launched straight into an epic first performance from the pros in its first instalment, which saw the group using umbrellas and the editing team playing with the colour effects, this week was empty.

Presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman announced the show and welcomed the dancers with grins on their faces, but there was no mention of the absence of a prerecorded pro dance.Taking to Twitter, fans shared their confusion about the change.
