Yet other fans weren't convinced.AJ's sassy salsa had wowed the crowd on Saturday night before going horribly wrong at the end with a fumbled lift.
Head judge Shirley Ballas sympathised, telling a gutted AJ: "It was on its way to a ten, you are fantastic. It's just unfortunate".With Dan and AJ both finding themselves in the dreaded dance-off there was everything to fight for.
Dan and his professional dance partner Nadiya Bychkova performed their tango again while AJ and her professional dance partner Kai Widdrington pulled off their salsa without a hitch.
