'Strictly Come Dancing' judges Shirley Ballas and Motsi Mabuse are on health kicks before the new series gets underway. Shirley is trying to banish some weight she put on in the last 18 months amid the coronavirus pandemic lockdowns, and Motsi is taking part in a "self-care challenge".
The 61-year-old 'Strictly' head judge told HELLO! magazine: “Over lockdown I gained some weight, so I’m trying to get back to where is comfortable for me. " Fellow judge Motsi, 40, has cut out calorific treats such as chocolate and wine.
She told OK! magazine: "For the last season of 'Let’s Dance', I was very disciplined about how I treated myself because there can be so much pressure. "That worked out really well so now it’s the same.
