An innovative green energy project planned for Strathclyde Country Park that could power nearby homes has been granted initial funding.The project aims to harness power to generate low-carbon heat for homes, industry and public buildings, with this funding allowing it to develop a business case.The development would involve the installation of a water source heat pump in Strathclyde Loch and solar canopies within the car parks to generate electricity, as well as energy generating public art.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
