Amulree has been found - over 300 miles away in Nottinghamshire. Thieves broke the locks on the kennel to make off with the elderly golden cockers on the afternoon of Thursday, July 15.Both are microchipped and spayed.Owner Iona McGregor (18) said the family is devastated and can’t understand how anyone can do such a thing.One dog is now home and safe after being found a six-hour drive away in Brinsley on Tuesday this week.Police officers are investigating the theft and the dog’s microchip is marked as stolen.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We are currently investigating the theft of two dogs from a farm steading at Amulree.“While the spaniels do have a notable financial value, more importantly they belong to a family who are upset.
