Steven Gerrard

Steven George Gerrard MBE (born 30 May 1980) is an English professional football manager and former player who manages Scottish Premiership club Rangers.

He spent the majority of his playing career as a central midfielder for Liverpool, with most of that time spent as club captain, as well as captaining the England national team. Widely regarded as one of the greatest midfielders of all time,

Gerrard was awarded the UEFA Club Footballer of the Year award in 2005, and the Ballon d'Or Bronze Award. In 2009, Zinedine Zidane and Pelé said that they considered Gerrard to be the best footballer in the world.

Bruno Fernandes

Bruno Miguel Borges Fernandes (born 8 September 1994) is a Portuguese footballer who plays for Primeira Liga club Sporting CP and the Portugal national team as a midfielder. Fernandes started his career at Serie B side Novara Calcio and soon featured for Udinese and Sampdoria in Serie A.

In 2017, he signed with Sporting CP where he established himself as one of the best players in the Primeira Liga. He was named the LPFP Primeira Liga Player of the Year in both 2017–18 and 2018–19. In the latter season, he also helped Sporting win the Taça de Portugal. A senior international since 2017, Fernandes represented Portugal at the 2016 Summer Olympics and 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Aston Villa boss Steven Gerrard has named the four current Premier League stars he would have loved to have played alongside."When appearing on Sky Sports' The Overlap, Gary Neville asked the current Villa boss what player he wished he could have played alongside.

And Gerrard responded: "Mo Salah, Bruno Fernandes, you might not agree with that, but I really like him."The former Liverpool captain continued: "Kevin De Bruyne for sure, 100 per cent, I think he's one of the best in the world right now.

Defensive wise, I think Virgil [Van Dijk] is just out of this world at the moment." Gerrard surprisingly named one Manchester United player in his four, despite spending the majority of his career on Merseyside.

Liverpool and United share one of the fiercest rivalries in English football, and Gerrard was swept away in the occasion the last time he appeared in the fixture.
