Steven Davis is taking career inspiration from countrymen Gareth McAuley and Aaron Hughes as he dropped a major hint that he could remain at Ibrox beyond next season.
The Northern Ireland captain is a key man for Steven Gerrard's champions at 36 and is a potential Player of the Year candidate following a hugely influential season in their historic title-winning campaign.
Davis signed up for another year and over the course of the coming campaign plans to listen to his body to determine when the time is right to call it quits.
But he doesn't feel under any pressure as he revealed plans to retire at Rangers and has international team-mates McAuley, who also had a spell at Ibrox, and Hughes for inspiration.
