Alongside Davina McCall, Adam Hills and Alan Carr, Maya hosted the fundraising proceedings broadcasted on Channel 4 live from London - with comedian Joe Lycett on hand to update everyone on the amount of money raised.

Despite being one of the most accomplished TV presenters in the United Kingdom, the former Radio One DJ admitted earlier this week that "anything could go wrong" when presenting live TV.

The star didn't need to worry about her performance on Friday night though - with viewers rushing to social media to heap praise on her skills.
