Ulrika Jonsson treated with 'disdain' over fame as she shares Caroline Flack insight
The Sun, blonde-haired beauty Ulrika reflected on her status as a celebrity. She told how "mere mortals" often assume that she leads an exciting life due to her job. However, Ulrika admitted it also presents an issue at times. She wrote: "And while I have no intention of denying I’ve had some remarkable blessings over the years there is a caveat."I’ve lost count of the number of times when certain people’s intention is to treat you with greater disdain, be dismissive or teach you a lesson because you must think you’re special."Insisting that she doesn't see herself this way, she told how it wasn't the case for all of them."Some celebs do believe they’re special and behave in a cavalier way," she admitted.Ulrika went on: "But looking at the situation in which Caroline found herself – fragile and vulnerable – one can’t help but wonder whether it was the intention of those arresting her to teach her a b****y good lesson."Following her death, Caroline's mother Christine asked the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) to order the Metropolitan Police to look into why the TV presenter was charged instead of cautioned when she was arrested in December 2019.The IOPC has since ordered the Met Police to look again at whether Caroline was treated differently due to her celebrity status, which was confirmed by the Met on February 14.Confirming the charges at the time, a Met Police spokesman said: "Caroline Flack, 40, of Islington was charged on Friday, 13 December with assault by beating.
