thefader.com"Baptize" by Atlanta rap supergroup Spillage Village was one of our favorite songs of 2020 and appeared on Spilligion, a standout full-length project from that year, as well.
Out of the blue, Spillage Village has decided to share a remix for "Baptize." Spillage member Hollywood JB appears on the track, as does Deante Hitchcock (who may or may not be a member of Spillage Village himself), Maryland MC IDK, and New York psychedelic rap duo Flatbush Zombies.
Like the original song, the "Baptize" remix is full of grief and passion, even if the political overtones are subdued slightly in favor of some heavy flexing.
