Spain's Prime Minister has blasted the UK for making another set of sweeping changes to travel rules. Pedro Sanchez hit out after Britain last night extended Foreign Office advice against "non-essential travel" to the whole of Spain.
That zone includes the Balearic islands - despite the fact they have a lower incidence of coronavirus. The second change in just a few days means Foreign Office advice now matches the law on quarantining when Brits get home.
Before yesterday, Brits could go to the Balearics - but then had to quarantine for 14 days on their return. Tory minister Simon Clarke said the move was taken because mass 14-day isolation would cause a "significant disruption to people's lives".
