Children’s play parks across South Lanarkshire are now closed.South Lanarkshire Council made the announcement earlier this morning saying it was a “difficult decision”.The local authority wrote on their Facebook page: “The difficult decision has been taken to close all children’s play areas in South Lanarkshire.“We appreciate that this will disappoint some residents, but the decision is in line with the latest advice from the Scottish Government on social distancing to limit the spread of coronavirus.“The advice remains that people who can exercise should still do so once a day, such as by taking a walk, a run or a cycle.“However, exercise should only be with members of the same household, and people should not congregate or travel far to
