Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

Sony expects Microsoft to 'abide by contractual agreements' in Activision takeover

While it's come as a bit of a shock to the industry that Microsoft has acquired Activision Blizzard for over $60 billion, one of the main concerns is how the company's library of games will be affected.

Many are concerned that Activision's games will become Xbox exclusive in the future, reigniting the so-called 'console wars'.

In the midst of this future uncertainty, Sony has released a statement in which it announces that it expects Activision's games to remain on PlayStation consoles, including the Call of Duty franchise. Despite Sony making the first move, it doesn't change the fact that future plans for Microsoft's newly acquired company are still uncertain.

Microsoft has not yet released a statement or plan of how games will be released under Activision's current IPs. The existing contracts that the Sony spokesperson speaks of includes very popular and high-selling titles on the PlayStation, such as Call of Duty and Overwatch.
