Four soldiers tossed a coin to decide who would drive Prince Philip's Land Rover at his funeral, according to reports. The group had been training and were described by officials as a "trusted pair of hands".
Corporal Louis Murray drove the specially modified Land Rover, carrying the Duke's coffin from Windsor Castle to St George's Chapel, and Corporal Craig French was the Commander with him.
All eyes were fixed on them taking the hearse on its short journey, trailed by the Royal Family and the duke's closest loved ones.
The driver was picked from a coin-toss of the group of four who had been specifically trained for the role, reports The Telegraph.
