Soldier 'killed while laying bombs as Kim Jong-un orders anti-covid landmines' on border

North Korean soldier has been killed in a blast while laying explosives on the border to China, it has been reported. It comes after claims leader Kim Jong-un ordered anti-coronavirus landmines to be placed at the North Korean border.The extreme measure has allegedly been ordered by the dictator in a bid to prevent the spread of the bug.The soldier, who is believed to have been from North Korea's Storm Corp, was working with other officers laying landmines.Three other soldiers are believed to be injured while carrying out the lethal task in Yanggang Province.According to the Daily NK, the landmine explosion occurred in mid-October.A source in Yanggang Province told the outlet that soldiers were laying mines in Pochon when the blast took.
