A young soldier who tragically died after a tank "rolled over" while participating in a military training exercise has been named.Private Jethro Watson-Pickering, 23, was killed on Friday in the tragedy, which saw the vehicle flip and hit a tree close to the village of Enford in Wiltshire.Originally from Boosbeck, Redcar, North Yorkshire, he was part of a crew operating the vehicle in a training area.Due to the presence of live ammunition on the vehicle, it took several hours for the Corps of Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers to free the soldiers.Private Watson-Pickering was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.The Yorkshire Regiment said in a statement today: "We very much regret to announce the death on Friday of Pte Jethro.
