ok.co.ukThe UK is set to be hit by snow and winds of up to 75mph as Storm Arwen takes hold this weekend. The Met Office has issued a series of weather warnings which cover the majority of the UK, as high winds are forecast across as the country.
Coastal areas are expected to be the worst affected, with warnings of travel disruption and possible damage. An amber alert has been issued for northeast Scotland and northeast England, with forecasters telling people to be prepared, as "flying debris is likely and could lead to injuries or danger to life".
