Spoofing a local Minnesota news show, cast members took the roles of news anchors who all initially agreed on certain aspects of trial — except on whether or not Chauvin, who is charged with the murder of George Floyd, would be found guilty despite the overwhelming evidence against the white police officer. “We all agree, there’s no way Derek Chauvin walks away from this,” said one newscaster, played by Kate McKinnon, to the doubt of two other presenters who were Black.
