‘SNL’: Chris Rock & Martin Short Among Hosts In December

deadline.comSaturday Night Live is starting to bring back former cast members to host the show this season. Chris Rock and Martin Short are among the hosts as the NBC show closes out the year, leading into its big Season 50 extravaganza in the new year.
Rock was a cast member between 1990 and 1993, while Short, who created characters such as Jiminy Glick, was a cast member for only one season between 1984 and 1985.
Rock will host on December 14 alongside musical guest Gracie Abrams, while Short will host on December 21 alongside Hozier as musical guest.
On December 7, as revealed on ’s last show, Gladiator II star Paul Mescal will host alongside A Bar Song (Tipsy) star Shaboozey.
