A1 in East Lothian. The alarm was raised at around 7.30am on Friday, April 23, following reports of a smash on the Thistly Cross Roundabout.
The southbound carriageway was temporarily closed while emergency crews, including two fire engines, dealt with the incident.
Traffic Scotland tweeted: “07.30am A1 at the Thistly Cross Roundabout. RTC on the roundabout itself, take care on approach. Police en route.” They later added: “The southbound carriageway is now closed with fire service in attendance - please use an alternative route meantime.”One lane has since reopened however traffic remains slow in the area.It is not currently known if anyone was injured or how many vehicles were involved.A spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue.
