Indoor meetings will still be banned until at least the middle of May, the Prime Minister has announced, as he begins to lift lockdown rules in England.
Boris Johnson's 'roadmap' targets May 17 as the earliest date for groups from two households to meet inside, after months of being made to stay apart.
Indoor gatherings are included in stage three of the government's plan - with outdoor meetings of up to six people targeted for March 29.
But indoor social distancing rules will remain in place - meaning hugging will not be allowed until at least the following month.
