cannabis factory fire after becoming locked inside an industrial unit where he was being held against his will. Emergency services were alerted to the blaze which broke out on the Premier Trading Estate, in Brierley Hill, West Midlands at 7.30pm on Thursday.Two suspected human slavery victims were pulled out of the burning building by fire crews and taken to hospital by paramedics in a serious condition.One of the foreign men died on Friday afternoon while a second man, aged in his 20s, recovered from his injuries and has since been discharged.
Detectives believe both vulnerable men had been trafficked into the UK from abroad and were being criminally exploited by a drugs gang.
