Upon his arrival to the stadium, the goalkeeper led his team-mates through to the tunnel where Burnley’s home dressing room was situated — only his head was tucked away under his jacket, which was zipped all the way up.Sky Sports Soccer Saturday presenter Jeff Stelling was reading through the team news when he saw Norris’ hilarious prank.
And while the legendary broadcaster has seen his fair share of antics in his 28-year run hosting the show, what Norris did might be a first.As reserve goalkeeper Norris was spotted walking along the corridor, a bemused Stelling struggled to get his words out in reacting to what he saw, saying: “Riiiiight… I hope he doesn’t keep goal like that!”Perhaps expecting the 28-year-old to reveal his head from underneath his jumper, the goalkeeper kept his identity a mystery before missing his entrance — the home dressing room.
