Former Manchester United youngster Danny Simpson has detailed the scathing half-time hairdryer treatment he was on the receiving end of from Sir Alex Ferguson, during his time at the club.
The full-back, who won the Premier League with Leicester City, came through the youth team at United before spending four years at the club - making three league appearances - as he enjoyed loan spells at Sunderland, Blackburn and Newcastle during that time.
Ferguson was well-known on and off the pitch for his drive for success and his half-time talks were infamous. Simpson revealed how he was left in tears after a dressing down during the clash against Everton in 2007 where he was hauled off at the break.
