SIMON Cowell is planning to sell his “haunted” £15million mansion. The X Factor boss and music mogul bought the 18th century pad in 2018.

A former owner has claimed it is haunted by the gay lover of Roman Emperor Hadrian. Simon, 61, was granted permission to carry out an extensive revamp of the seven-bed property in South West London.

Plans were approved for a 15-metre outdoor pool, a bar, an extended sunroom and state-of-the-art security. Work began in February, but last night sources said Simon had done a U-turn and was preparing to put the pad up for sale.

One said: “Simon loved the property when he bought it, and had a list of changes and improvements. “But he seems to have had a change of heart.
