BRITAIN'S Got Talent judge Simon Cowell has made a savage dig at the Spice Girls in a preview clip ahead of tonight's show. Simon, 62, questioned the famous pop group's singing talents after watching the audition of Damenation, a group of singing drag queens decked out in colourful pantomime costumes.

Damenation is known for performing famous songs but reworking them, such as changing Raining Men to Raining Dames. While his fellow judge David Walliams was in awe of the group, saying "I felt like I had died and gone to heaven," Simon offered a rather unique style of feedback. "It was like a Spice Girls reunion… just better singing," he told the dames.

The record smashing Spice Girls was made up of of Mel B, Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm and Geri Halliwell.

Mel B worked with Simon previously on America's Got Talent and The X-Factor. She revealed how the girls tried to get Simon to sign them in the 90s by giving an impromptu audition in a car.
