Last year a woman took on the challenge of shopping exclusively at zero waste stores and found that overall it cost more money and thought that this might be due to their limited buying power, organic and niche products.

However, it turns out that some shoppers have been making huge savings on dry pantry goods like spices and herbs - up to 80%.
