Shopper nabs £500 sofa bargain on Facebook – but viewers think it had X-rated past

Facebook marketplace was left rather embarrassed left when she discovered its X-rated purpose.Mallory, from the US, spotted the furniture on social media for $700 (£567) and thought it was an unbelievable bargain after comparing it to the original retail price of $4,000 (£3,242).The sofa set featured a lounging area with a backrest, a table in the centre and two ottomans that come together to form a giant circle.The young woman took to TikTok to share her unbridled excitement for the new addition to her apartment.She said: “I’ve never seen a round couch before and I just moved into an apartment in Chicago and I wanted a funky couch."So I Googled it but I couldn’t find much information on it...

and then I found this. So I went to pick it up.”However, her amazement quickly turned to disgust as her fans informed her that she had purchased a "swingers couch".“That couch had a life before you just saying,” one wrote, laughing.Another said: “Swingers really do have the best taste in furniture.”However, Mallory wasn’t fully convinced by the comments as she claimed she purchased it from a rich lady "who lived in a $5million (£4m) home".Social media users then responded: "You said it was an old lady that lived in a $5m house and I went ‘oh then it’s definitely a swinger’s couch’ - just clean it really well."Another added: "Ohh yeah an old rich lady, definitely was used for swinger parties.”But whether that was the purpose or not Mallory now insists that she has "no regrets" about her purchase and has made follow up videos about owning a swingers couch.

Some have even claimed to be jealous of her purchase, writing: "Bro you got a steal on that couch! They probably didn’t even realise!
