Shop worker raises hundreds of pounds for Alzheimer Scotland in memory of mother

A kind-hearted shop worker has raised hundreds of pounds for Alzheimer Scotland in memory of his mother. Richard Jarvie completed his own Memory Walk last month which raised £590 for the charity, with many of his donations coming from his customers at the Co-op in Bothwell.

The 69-year-old lost his mum Isobel who suffered from dementia before she passed away 10 years ago.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
