Shaughna Phillips has suggested that certain moments on Love Island have been exaggerated for dramatic effect by producers. The 26-year-old, who rose to fame on the Winter Love Island series thanks to her cutting one-liners, hinted that clever-editing is at the heart of the show.
Speaking this week, the Londoner reflected on her short-lived relationship with scaffolder Callum Jones, which was cut short by a stint in Casa Amor.
At one point, Shaughna urged Callum to write a letter to bombshell Rebecca Gormley, letting her know he was spoken for. Though viewers picked up on tension in the scene, Shaughna insisted: "Me and him were literally crying with laughter the whole time that was happening.
