Sergio Aguero could have done serious damage to his chances of landing a new Manchester City contract with his Covid scare.
The Argentine striker, who will be a free agent in the summer, is in self-isolation after a member of his family contracted the virus and is still unavailable for Sunday's game against Crystal Palace.
He has only started two games this season as he struggles to recover full fitness after suffering knee ligament damage against Burnley in June.
And City bosses have told the 32-year-old that he needs to prove he is fully recovered before they will decide on whether to offer him a new deal.
