Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson Hon FRIBA (born 19 June 1964) is a British politician, writer, and former journalist serving as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Leader of the Conservative Party since 2019. He was Foreign Secretary from 2016 to 2018 and Mayor of London from 2008 to 2016. Johnson was Member of Parliament for Henley from 2001 to 2008 and has been MP for Uxbridge and South Ruislip since 2015. Ideologically, Johnson identifies as a one-nation conservative.

Selena Gomez has sensationally called Boris Johnson out over his recent announcement about how Great Britain will distribute surplus vaccines across the world.

Taking to her Twitter account, the American pop star tagged the UK Prime Minister in a tweet public to 64.8 million followers.

The 28-year-old wrote: ".@BorisJohnson, 5million doses by September is too little too late. You promised Britain would donate ALL its surplus vaccines.

Ahead of the #G7 Summit in Cornwall, call on the PM to help meet 1B doses." The Hands to Myself singer also tagged the Global Citizen in her tweet earlier today, as well as a link to a web page where visitors can send an email to Boris Johnson entitled "Act Now to Help End the Pandemic for All".
