variety.comMarc Malkin Senior Film Awards, Events & Lifestyle EditorDirector Craig Gillespie doesn’t want to reveal too much about “Pam & Tommy,” his upcoming Hulu series about Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee’s marriage and infamous sex tape, but he certainly offers a good tease or two.“The scripts are pretty amazing,” Gillespie said while promoting his latest film, Disney’s “Cruella.” “It’s going to be a wild, shocking [and] painfully sad ride.”The series, currently shooting, stars Lily James (“Downton Abbey”) as Anderson and Sebastian Stan (“Falcon and the Winter Soldier”) as Lee. “They’ve just completely embodied these characters in such a fun way, and the chemistry is amazing,” Gillespie said.
