Peterhead last night. Police, HM coastguard rescue and a helicopter were dispatched to find the man. Ellon Police received reports of a man falling into the water near Bullars of Buchan, south of Peterhead, Aberdeenshire, at around 7.35pm on Friday, August 21.
He is understood to have been scaling a north-east rock face.HM Coastguard lifeboats, from Aberdeen and Peterhead, scoured the area until late last night and will continue today.Inspector Andrew Scott, from Ellon Police Station, said: "Around 7.35pm on Friday, 21 August, we received a report of a man falling into the water near Bullars of Buchan.
