The Scottish SPCA is appealing to the Lanarkshire public to consider opening their hearts and homes to an animal in need by signing up to become a foster carer for the charity.
Fostering was initially piloted by the Society during the first lockdown in March 2020 when animals were unable to be rehomed.
The scheme proved so successful that it was then trialled on a larger scale at the Scottish SPCA’s Dunbartonshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre in December 2021.
