Scottish Grand National has been rescheduled to avoid a clash with Prince Phillip's funeral. The showpiece event in Ayr was due to take place on Saturday, April 17 but the decision's been taken to push it back 24 hours to Sunday, April 18.No racing will take place at all in the UK between 2.45pm and 4.15pm as the Duke of Edinburgh is laid to rest.The race was set to commence at 3.35pm but will now get under way at the same time the following day.It's the latest sporting event to be rearranged in light of the funeral schedule.
