Scott Wright 's situation resolved as soon as possible as he opened up on a "horrible afternoon" for his side in Dingwall. The forward is close to agreeing a pre-contract move to Rangers but could move this month if the two clubs can work out a deal.
The 23-year-old started as Aberdeen were beaten 4-1 by Ross County on Saturday, but his manager admits he would like clarity on Wright's future as soon as possible.
Speaking on BBC Radio Scotland McInnes said: "As far as I'm concerned, both myself and the chairman have had no other contact from Rangers since the start of the week.
