Snooker's biggest stars once pulled non-swimmer Stephen Hendry half a mile through the sea off Hong Kong so he could join them on a remote island.
Barry Hearn, chairman of the World Snooker Tour, revealed the Scottish star was just a teenager when he was invited to join players including Jimmy White and Steve Davis on an exhibition tour in the Far East.While visiting Hong Kong, White arranged to borrow a friend's luxury boat to take them all to a nearby island.
Sports promoter Hearn says Hendry proved his mettle to his fellow pros by jumping into the water despite not being able to swim.
