Scots share gruesome Halloween food creations including severed fingers and dead body buffets

Halloween is almost upon us, and some Scots are already getting into the spooky spirit by rustling up some ghoulish treats in the kitchen.

Scottish home cooks have revealed their frightfully incredible edible masterpieces, from dead body buffets and spooky skulls to creepy eyes.

Among the most impressive designs bound to confuse tastebuds are severed fingers, dirty cottonbuds, 'meat feet' and ghoulish green spaghetti.

Others took a more child-friendly approach and made adorable ghosts meringues and tombstone cupcakes. The treats were shared on Facebook's Scotland Forever recipe page in anticipation fro Halloween.
