Sainsbury's bosses for refusing to shut down their depot after an outbreak among distribution staff - which they fear could have spread the virus across Scotland.
Whistleblowers claimed that two staff at the supermarket giant’s East Kilbride depot have been diagnosed with Covid-19 - including a driver who travelled around the central belt and down to Stranraer.
They are outraged that they have been forced to work on despite the new Covid cluster.A staff member said: “There were two people that have tested positive - one was a driver and another worked in the warehouse.“You would think there would be a closure and a deep clean but it’s business as usual as if nothing at all has happened.
