Scots parent campaigners say masks in schools is now 'unacceptable'

Parent campaigners have lashed out at Nicola Sturgeon 's decision to keep children in masks during school saying it's "unacceptable".

Parents from Us For Them Scotland say the move means children will now be in masks "more than almost any other group in society".

Ms Sturgeon made the announcement during a media briefing yesterday where she confirmed the lifting of many Covid restrictions in Scotland from August 9.

The First Minister said when children return to school there will be no more 'blanket isolations' for classes.Instead, close contacts will be PCR tested then, if negative, it won't be necessary for them to isolate.However, Ms Sturgeon said secondary school pupils would still be forced to wear face masks during lessons - despite.
