David Robert Joseph Beckham OBE (born 2 May 1975) is an English former professional footballer, the current president of Inter Miami CF and co-owner of Salford City. He played for Manchester United, Preston North End, Real Madrid, Milan, LA Galaxy, Paris Saint-Germain and the England national team, for which he held the appearance record for an outfield player until 2016. He is the first English player to win league titles in four countries: England, Spain, the United States and France. He retired in May 2013 after a 20-year career, during which he won 19 major trophies.

transplant is urging people to think carefully about their organ donation choices ahead of a change in the law.Nurse Caroline Carlin, from Paisley, has called on Buddies to discuss their decision with loved ones as Scotland gets set to move towards an ‘opt-out’ system of organ donation.The 58-year-old was diagnosed with advanced heart failure in 2017 following a heart attack.She was admitted to the Golden Jubilee National Hospital, in Clydebank, in April 2019 and placed on the urgent heart transplant list.Very quickly - just 11 weeks later - she had the surgery that gave her a new chance at life.She is now asking people to chat with relatives about what they would like to happen to their organs when they die.A year and a half on from her.
