A Scots couple have been left furious after being charged £63 for a Chinese meal they never ordered. Jason Parker, from Edinburgh, and his girlfriend were confused after JustEat sent them an email confirmation for the 'phantom' takeaway order.

The 24-year-old and his partner, who wants to remain anonymous, were then billed for a huge food haul which included; gyoza chicken dumplings, edamame, king prawn satay on skewers, tofu sweetcorn soup, mixed seafood soup, pork sieuw mai, salt and chilli mixed platter, salt and chilli king prawn, salt and chilli chips and sweet and sour chicken.

It is believed scammers targeted the couple with the cheeky con by obtaining their details online, reports Edinburgh Live. Popular takeaway giant JustEat has now launched an investigation while its fraud experts frantically track down.
