police officer was left bloodied by his cop fiancée in an attack after a Covid lockdown-breaking bash, a court has heard. Police Constable Gordon Dunn, 33, said he was left "broken" and in tears after being assaulted by Lara McAulay, 31.
McAulay, who is understood to have been working as a Temporary Sergeant at the time, went on trial at Glasgow Sheriff Court yesterday over the claims.
She denies a domestic assault charge, claiming she lashed out in self-defence at the home they shared in Rutherglen, near Glasgow, on January 30, 2021.
