A Scots man has been arrested in connection with historic drug offences in the Netherlands. Police have confirmed they have arrested a 57-year-old man in the European country.
The crimes were allegedly committed in Scotland between 2013 and 2014.Officers have thanked the National Crime Agency for their assistance in the inquiries.The man will now be subject to extradition proceedings.Cops add that a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.Following the arrest, Assistant Chief Constable Pat Campbell said: "I am grateful for the assistance of our law enforcement partners, including the National Crime Agency, in arresting the man who is wanted in Scotland for drugs offences."He will now be subject to extradition
