Scooter Braun has unloaded Taylor Swift’s master recordings from the Big Machine Label Group for more than $392 million CAD.
According to Variety, the master rights to Swift’s first six albums were sold to an unknown investment fund. RELATED: Taylor Swift Picks Out A Cardigan In New Capital One Ad Braun’s company, Ithaca Holdings LLC, purchased Scott Borchetta’s Big Machine in June 2019.
Variety reports that the label will remain under the control of Braun and Borchetta. Swift left Big Machine in 2018 and released her last two albums, Lover and folklore, through Universal Music Group.
