4-Chloromethcathinone has reportedly been mis-sold across the city as MDMA. Anyone who falls unwell after taking the substance is urged to seek urgent medical attention.

Researchers Manchester Drug Analysis and Knowledge Exchange, or MANDRAKE, posted a warning on its Twitter account on Friday (July 23).

The licenced scientific resource, based at Manchester Metropolitan University, works in partnership with key stakeholders to provide chemical analysis for harm-reduction and intelligence sharing.
