A school worker who died of coronavirus after becoming a gran for the first time has been described as "sparkly" by her devastated colleagues.
Carole Flynn, 54, a mum-of-three from Coventry, became ill late last month and died early on Thursday. Colleagues at Corpus Christi Catholic Primary School in Coventry said she had worked at the school for 16 years.
They said she was "a truly remarkable and sparkly person who would fill a room with warmth and laughter by simply being present".
