Sarah Jayne Dunn's final scenes on Hollyoaks have now been aired after the star was booted off the Channel 4 soap over her OnlyFans account.The 40-year-old actress had appeared on Hollyoaks for more than two decades, but that streak came to an abrupt end last year.

Despite having "approval" from Channel 4 to have an account on the adult site, she was axed by the show's bosses when she decided to keep it.

Sarah's character, Mandy Richardson, last graced our screens in December, but now in scenes filmed before the OnlyFans controversy her exit from Hollyoaks has been confirmed, reports OK!.

Mandy jets off to LA for a new job in the soap's recent episodes. Her departure was addressed in the first look episode on E4 where character Cindy Cunningham – played by Stephanie Waring – can be seen reading a note from Mandy that explains she has left the village in secret to avoid anyone having the chance to change her mind.The scene sees Cindy and character Zara Morgan – played by Kelly Greenwood – break the news of Mandy’s secret departure to Ella where Cindy says: “She didn't want to tell anyone in case we'd change her mind.“She just hopes that you can forgive her and when we go and visit, she'll pay for the flights and a five-star hotel.”The show also revealed Mandy’s ex Luke Morgan – played by Gary Lucy – was devastated to learn she had taken the pair’s son with her to America.Fans of the soap flocked to Twitter to share their views on the actress’ exit.One wrote: “That was Mandy's exit?
